Fixed asset inventory in Uzbekistan

Asset registers drift. Equipment is moved between offices, laptops change hands, old machines are scrapped without paperwork. Our fixed asset inventory service in Uzbekistan finds and identifies every asset on site, tags it, and compares what we find with your register, so you know what you own, where it is and who uses it.

What a fixed asset inventory covers

We count the physical assets your company uses rather than sells: production equipment, warehouse racking and forklifts, vehicles, IT hardware, office furniture and fittings. For each one we record a description, make and model, serial number where available, location, condition and responsible department or person.

The scope can be a single office in Tashkent or a network of plants, depots and branches across the regions. We agree the asset categories, the minimum value or type to include and the level of detail before starting.

Tagging and identification

Assets without a readable tag are labelled with durable barcode or QR tags, placed consistently so they can be scanned in future checks. Where your company already uses an asset numbering scheme, we keep it. For vehicles and large equipment, we can record chassis or serial numbers instead of applying a tag.

Small, mobile assets such as laptops, tools and measuring devices are the ones most often missing. For these we record the user as well as the location, so the register shows who is responsible for each item.

  • Durable barcode or QR asset tags
  • Consistent tag position by asset type
  • Photos of high-value or unusual assets
  • Serial and chassis numbers recorded
  • Condition noted: in use, idle, damaged, obsolete

Asset register clean-up

Once the count is complete, we compare it line by line with your register. Some assets are found but not recorded, some are recorded but not found, and some are in a different location or with a different user than the register shows. We sort these into clear groups and propose corrections.

The result is a cleaned register file you can load into your ERP or 1C, plus a list of items that need a decision from management, such as missing assets or equipment to be written off. How these decisions are reflected in your accounts should be confirmed with your local accountant or auditor.

When to run a fixed asset count

Common triggers include a year-end close, a change of management or ownership, office relocations, a new ERP implementation, or simply a register that nobody has checked for several years. Once assets are tagged, future counts are much faster because each item can be scanned rather than searched for.

A practical tip: ask department heads to confirm, before the count, which assets have been moved, lent or taken out of use since the last check. A short list from each department saves search time on site and makes the comparison with the register far more accurate.

Common questions

Do you need our asset register before the count?

It helps. We can count without it, but having the register allows us to compare on site and look again for missing items before leaving.

Can you count assets in several cities?

Yes. We are based in Tashkent and travel to offices, plants and depots anywhere in Uzbekistan, and combine the results into one register.

What happens to assets we cannot find?

They are listed separately with the last known location and user, so management can decide on further search or write-off with advice from your accountant.
